Marianne’s Place is an accessible emergency shelter where we welcome all women and their children who are experiencing physical, sexual, emotional or financial abuse and/or stalking or human trafficking. It’s more than just a safe place to stay. After intake, our staff will give you support and information so you can make your own choices about safety for you and your children.

Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis is still here to support the community.  Services look differently right now, but 24-hour crisis line support is always available and can connect you with a counselor for one-on-one support over the phone, via email or video counselling. As we continue to adapt our services during isolation we wanted to do our best to provide additional resources that might help. Check back often for new additional resources.

The Anti-Human Trafficking Program offers individual counselling and support to those who have experienced or are currently experiencing Human Trafficking. Services are free, confidential, non-judgmental, and identification is not required. Interpreters can be arranged if necessary.

Navigating the Family Court System can be difficult, confusing and overwhelming. The Family Court Program provides services to women who have experienced abuse and are currently involved or about to enter the Family Court process.

The Crisis Line is a 24-hour telephone and TTY support and referral line in Guelph and Wellington County. You can call us at 519-836-5710 or 1-800-265-7233.

The Sexual Assault Centre offers individual and group counselling and support to women 16 years of age and older who have or are experiencing any form of sexual violence. We also offer support to families, partners and friends of survivors of sexual assault or woman abuse. All our services are free and interpreters can be arranged when necessary.

The Rural Women's Support Program provides services to women and their children living in Wellington County who have been or are in an abusive relationship, or have experienced childhood sexual abuse/incest, recent or past sexual assault, harassment and/or stalking.

The Transitional and Housing Support Program offers a wide range of support to women in the community who are experiencing abuse, have left abusive relationships recently or in the past, or who are considering leaving. All our services are free and interpreters and childcare can be arranged when necessary.
