Crisis Line

The Crisis Line is a 24-hour telephone and TTY Crisis Line in Guelph and Wellington County.

You can call us at 519 836 5710 or 1 800 265 7233.

We support women 16 years of age and older who have experienced or are experiencing any:

  • Emotional abuse
  • Physical abuse
  • Sexual abuse (including any unwanted sexual attention, harassment, stalking or childhood sexual abuse)
  • Financial abuse

The Crisis Line is confidential and anonymous.
You do not have to give your name and we do not have Call Display.
We provide non-judgmental listening and support.

When you call the Crisis Line, we can connect you to all of Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis’ services and can help you go to Marianne’s Place shelter if you need a safe place to stay. We can help with safety planning, referrals to other community groups, lawyers, the hospital etc. and information about abuse.

We also speak to concerned friends and family members of abused women, service providers and other professionals in contact with abused women.
